This Privacy Policy explains how Unspoiled (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you access or use unspoiled.xyz and our related services (collectively, the “Service”).
The Service is operated by the operator of Unspoiled.
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy and to our Terms of Use. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy or our Terms of Use, do not use the Service.
The Service currently:
We use browser storage technologies to remember settings such as your selected theme and display preferences.
The Service also uses infrastructure and third-party content providers that may automatically receive technical information when you visit the Service or load embedded content, as described below.
Information You Provide. The Service does not provide user accounts, public posting, or direct messaging. It does provide a suggestions form, described below, and you may also contact us by email.
If you contact us directly by email, we will receive the information included in your message, such as your email address, name, message content, and any attachments you provide.
Suggestions Form. If you submit the suggestions form, we receive the category you select, the message you write, and, if you choose to provide them, a link and your email address. The email field is optional and the form can be submitted without it. We also receive a small amount of technical information submitted with the form for the purpose of detecting automated abuse.
Submissions are delivered to us by email and are not stored in a database by the Service. Submissions are not published or shown to other users.

These settings are generally stored on your device using cookies, local storage, or similar browser technologies. They are used to operate and personalize the interface and are not currently used by us for targeted advertising.
Automatically Processed Technical Information. When you access the Service, our website host, content-delivery network, security provider, or other infrastructure providers may automatically process technical information such as:
We may have limited access to some of this information through provider dashboards or logs. We use or permit this processing to deliver the Service, maintain security, prevent abuse, diagnose errors, and understand basic system performance.
Rate Limiting and Abuse Prevention. Our hosting and security provider counts requests made to certain pages of the Service in short, fixed time windows in order to detect and slow automated bulk copying of our content. That counting uses your IP address together with the connection fingerprint described above as the counting key. The two are used together specifically so that separate visitors sharing one network address are not treated as a single visitor.
This processing is carried out at our infrastructure provider’s network edge. It does not read, set, or rely on any cookie, does not store anything on your device, and is not used to build a profile of you, to recognize you across visits, or for advertising or analytics. We rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the Service available and preventing its automated misuse.
Requests that exceed a limit are recorded and receive a plain error response, after which ordinary requests resume as soon as the counting window closes. The Service does not, and will not, ask you to complete a CAPTCHA, a verification page, or any similar challenge in order to read it.
The Service may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies that are necessary or useful for:
If you install the Service to your home screen, or in some browsers simply by visiting it, a service worker may store a copy of the Service’s static files—scripts, stylesheets, fonts, and icons—on your device so that pages load faster. This cache contains no personal information and no record of what you viewed, and it is removed when you clear the site’s data.
You can generally remove or block browser storage through your browser settings. Doing so may reset your preferences or cause parts of the Service to function incorrectly.
We do not currently use our own cookies for cross-site behavioral advertising.
Security and Rate Limiting. The abuse-prevention and rate-limiting processing described in Section 2 uses no cookie and no other browser storage. It reads only information your browser or client already sends in order to make the request at all.
Analytics. We use PostHog, an analytics service, to understand which parts of the Service people use—for example, how many pages are viewed and which leagues and games are opened—and to tell us when something on a page breaks, so we can fix it. PostHog processes this information on our behalf as our service provider, and the project we use is hosted in the European Union.
Our analytics are configured to run without cookies. PostHog is set to a cookieless mode, which means it does not store cookies, local storage entries, or other identifiers on your device, and it does not assign you a persistent identifier that would let us recognize you on a later visit or on another website.
In place of an identifier kept on your device, PostHog’s servers derive a temporary one from technical details of the request combined with a secret value that rotates daily. Nothing about it is stored on your device or returned to your browser, and because the secret value rotates, the temporary identifier changes with it—so activity cannot be linked from one day to the next.
What we collect through analytics is limited to:
Your IP address necessarily reaches PostHog’s servers, as it does with any request your browser makes to any website. It is used only, and briefly, to calculate the temporary identifier described above, and is then discarded before anything is stored. It is not saved alongside these events, and it is not used to determine your location—we do not receive country, region, or city information about you at all.
We do not record your screen or your session, we do not use analytics to identify you, and we never associate analytics information with your name, email address, or any message you send us. We do not collect search terms, form contents, or the contents of any query string.
If your browser sends a “Do Not Track” signal, we do not collect analytics information from that browser at all.
You can switch analytics off. There is an “Anonymous usage stats” setting on our Settings page. When it is off, the analytics code is not loaded at all on the pages you open afterwards, rather than being loaded and asked not to send anything. Because that decision is read before any analytics code runs, switching it off takes effect on the next page you load. Your choice is remembered in a small preference file stored on your device, alongside your other settings.
Where required, our legal basis for this limited processing is our legitimate interest in understanding how the Service is used and in maintaining and improving it. Because the analytics are cookieless and do not identify you, we consider this a proportionate way to measure usage. PostHog processes information under its own privacy policy and under our agreement with it as our processor. For more information, see the PostHog Privacy Policy.
The Service embeds or links to videos and other content provided by third parties, such as YouTube or other video platforms and publishers.
Nothing is requested from a video provider until you ask for it. On a game’s own page, the player is not loaded when the page opens. In its place we show our own panel with a play button, and no request of any kind is made to YouTube, Google, or any related service—no player, no script, no thumbnail image, and no advance connection. Pressing play is what loads the player, and it begins playing on that same press. Elsewhere in the Service, a player is loaded only after you select a game in order to watch its highlights.
Once you have asked for a video, the third-party provider receives information about your device and your interaction with the content, and may use cookies, local storage, pixels, device identifiers, or similar technologies. We load the player from YouTube’s privacy-enhanced address, which reduces some of what it would otherwise do, but it does not prevent the provider from receiving your IP address or from storing information once playback begins.
If you never press play, none of the above happens.
Depending on the provider and your settings, the information the provider receives once a video is requested may include:
Third parties process information under their own privacy policies and terms. We do not control their data practices.
Links to discussion threads are inert until you use them. Where the Service offers a link to a discussion thread about a game, that link is ordinary text until you follow it. Displaying it makes no request to Reddit or to any other discussion platform—no script, no image, no preview, and no advance connection—and no such platform is told that you viewed the page or that a link to it was shown to you.
If you follow one, you leave the Service, and the destination receives the information a website ordinarily receives from a visitor. This may include your IP address, your device and browser information, the page you came from, and your account information if you are logged in to that platform. It processes that information under its own privacy policy. We are not told that you followed the link and receive nothing back. For more information, see Reddit’s Privacy Policy.
Following a link away from the Service will also subject you to the destination website’s privacy practices.
We may retrieve schedules, event metadata, and related information from third-party providers.
Requests to those providers may involve the transmission of technical information needed to retrieve and display the information. We do not currently use schedule information to build personal profiles about individual users.
Suggestions. We use information submitted through the suggestions form to understand the report or request, to operate, maintain, correct, and improve the Service, and to detect and prevent automated abuse of the form. If you provide an email address, we use it to reply to your message and for no other purpose. We do not use it for marketing, newsletters, or any mailing list.

Information may be disclosed or made available to:
Service Providers. Hosting, infrastructure, content-delivery, security, database, and technical-service providers may process information on our behalf or as necessary to provide their services. This includes the security and rate-limiting processing described in Section 2, which is performed by our hosting provider at its network edge.
Email-Delivery Provider. Submissions made through the suggestions form are delivered to us by Resend, a third-party email-delivery service acting as our service provider. Resend processes the contents of your submission in order to deliver it to us, and may process technical information associated with the delivery for security and abuse detection in accordance with its own practices. Embedded-Content Providers. Video platforms and other third parties may receive information when their content is embedded, loaded, or accessed.
Legal and Safety Purposes. We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, or governmental requests; investigate fraud or security problems; enforce our terms; or protect rights, safety, and property.
Business Transfers. Information may be transferred as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction.
Submissions made through the suggestions form are retained in our email mailbox for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain business records, resolve disputes, or comply with legal obligations, and may be deleted at any time. Our form-delivery provider may retain submission or technical data for its own operational and abuse-prevention periods.
Browser-based preferences remain on your device until they expire or you remove them through your browser settings.
Technical logs may be retained by us or our service providers for periods determined by operational, security, diagnostic, or legal needs.
Rate-Limiting Data. The request counters described in Section 2 are short-lived by design: each counting window is ten minutes long, and a counter is discarded when its window closes. We do not copy those counters into any store of our own, and no long-term record keyed to your IP address or connection fingerprint is created by this processing. Our hosting provider separately retains firewall and security-event logs according to its own retention schedule and plan limits, which we do not set and do not control. We access those logs only to check whether the limits are set correctly and to investigate suspected abuse.
Messages sent directly to us may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain business records, resolve disputes, or comply with legal obligations.
Because we do not currently provide user accounts, we do not maintain account profiles or account histories.
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect information handled through the Service.
However, no website, transmission method, or storage system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
Providing an email address on the suggestions form is optional. If you submit the form without one, we have no way to contact you and will not attempt to.

The Service is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13.

The Service is operated from the United States. If you access it from another country, information may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other countries in which our service providers operate.
Those countries may have data-protection laws different from those in your jurisdiction.
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the Service, our practices, our providers, or applicable law.
The updated policy will be posted through the Service with a revised Effective Date. We may provide additional notice when changes are material or when legally required.
